Bald River Falls/North River

Here are some pictures of our family trip the other day. We went to Bald River Falls and hiked to the top. This is a picture of me on some rocks beside the trail.

This is a picture of me, dad and Helen looking at the Falls from the road. Pretty cool!

We also went fly fishing. Dad taught me how to fly fish. It was fun.
Here is what Helen does while I fish. EAT! Mom said that in the first picture she is eating chex mix and in the second picture she is eating a banana!

The picture on top is when I hooked my fish! Mom ran down the bank really fast to get a picture of my fish and here it is! I caught a rainbow trout!
Here is a picture of it up close! Awesome!

Finally!

My front two teeth have been loose for a long time. Today one of them finally came out. I twisted it for about seven minutes and then mom came in and twisted it for about five minutes. Then it came out. It feels really weird to eat and I keep on trying to wiggle it, but it isn't there so I stick my tongue in the hole. I can already feel the big tooth coming in!
Of course while we were pulling it out, Helen was right there beside me. She kept saying, "I want the tooth fairy to come!" She would also sing songs about me getting my tooth out. I think she was more excited than I was!

I added a new song to my blog for Wheat, Lake and River! I want to see you dancing to this one!

Walnut Mania!

I went to Nana and Papa's house on Wednesday and Papa asked me if I wanted to help him crack walnuts. I had never done it before, so I thought I'd try. And before you knew it, Papa and I had about 10 walnuts all cleaned out. He would hammer them and open them. My job was to get the stuff out. (the meat of the walnut) Look at the picture on the right and you will see that I used a little tool to pick out the walnut. I am really good at it! The treat was......brownies! Nana took the walnuts we got and she made walnut brownies!

This is a picture of me working hard.

Here I am with two walnuts that I picked out.
Do you like my new music on my playlist?

I Met a Famous Children's Author!

We were getting ready to eat dinner tonight when our friend Marilyn called and said that Mary Pope Osborne was going to be at Border's book store in one hour! She saw it on the news. MPO is the author of the Magic Tree House books. Mom and I finished our dinner very fast and we got there as quick as we could. I really like reading the Magic Tree House books and right now I am on #6 which is "Afternoon on the Amazon." We got there and bought her newest book, "Moonlight on the Magic Flute" and got a wristband. We listened to her talk for about 15 minutes and then we got in line to have my picture made with her. She broke her knuckle on one hand and her wrist on the other hand, so she didn't sign my book, just stamped it. Then we got good hot chocolate with a stick of chocolate, white chocolate and whipped cream from the cafe in Borders. We are going to see Magic Tree House~The Musical next week at The Tennessee Theater. Here is a You Tube video so you can see what it is going to be like. I can't wait. ROCK ON.

This is me with Mary Pope Osborne and her husband, Will Osborne.

Home Depot and Birthday Party

On Saturday morning, we went to Home Depot for the Kid's Workshop. My grandparents were in town to watch me play basketball, so we decided to go make something at HD before my game! It was fun, but the craft was kind of girly. I can't wait until next month when we get to make a race track!

This is Grankaki helping me with my trinket box.
Helen and me with Grankaki and Granbob
After Home Depot, I played my basketball game and had fun. I got the best effort star! On Saturday night, I went to Calyn's birthday party and hung out with her brother and my good friend, Tristan! The party was at Events at Sherlake where you jump and slide on all of the inflatible things! We had a blast! Can you tell that I was HOT?

Adventure Science Center

My grandparents took us to the Adventure Science Center in Nashville on Friday. I had a lot of fun. This is a picture of me experiencing what it would feel like to be an astronaut on a spacewalk working in zero gravity. There is a video at the bottom too. Mom and I also did the "Moonwalker" where we got to see what it would feel like to walk on the moon. Sorry you can't see mom in the harness. Susi has a great picture on her I-phone!

This was a cool game to see your reaction time. I would shoot the puck and Granbob tried to keep it from going in the goal
You can't see it, but in this picture I am using a lever to lift a car. Pretty cool.
You know I had to put this one on here. There was a whole section on the path that food takes through your body when you eat it. You get to take a ride down the colon slide!
Here is a picture of Helen and Susi building blocks.
Here I am on the spacewalk trying to work on the outside of a spaceship!

Here I am with Helen on a TV screen. We could stand in front of a blue screen and push a button to change the backgrounds behind us. It was awesome!
