I Love Baseball!

On June 17th, my Nana and Papa took my cousin Connor and me to see two Atlanta Braves baseball games. We went to the Thursday night game against the Tampa Bay Rays and the Friday night game against the Kansas City Royals. We had a great time! This was the fourth (and fifth) major league baseball game that I've been to. It was my first time to go to a game at Turner Field. Here is a picture of Connor and me with a giant Braves baseball!

This is me in front of the Cartoon Network section of Turner Field!
Connor and me checking out the All-Star ballot.
This was our view from our seats. I'm not sure who was at bat!
Before the game on Friday night, we went to The World of Coca Cola! I tasted every kind of Coca-Cola that there is in the world!
Since I love baseball, mom thought it would be cool to show all of the baseball fields that I have been to! Last August, my other grandparents, Grankaki and Granbob took me to St. Louis. My great-aunt Meg went with us, too! We went to a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game at Busch Stadium. We watched the Cardinals play the Houston Astros! This is the only picture that I took with my camera. I was standing in front of a statue of Stan "the man" Musial outside of Busch Stadium. This was the third major league baseball game that I have been to.
The second major league baseball game that I had ever been to was at the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, Ohio. I went with mom, dad and Helen to watch the Reds play against the Cardinals. Here is a picture of me, dad and Helen inside the stadium.
This is a picture of me at that game doing one of my favorite things to do at a baseball game. EAT! Here I am chowing down on some nachos!
And the first major league baseball game that I ever went to was at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado. I don't remember it because I wasn't even two years old yet! But mom has pictures to prove I was there! And they are so old that she had to scan the pictures out of one of her albums!
Here is a picture of dad and me inside the stadium watching batting practice before the game.
Our seats were way out in left field.
But mom and dad told me that just before we left, another guy was leaving and he offered us his tickets so we could get down close for another couple of innings. Then we had this view! That is former UT player Todd Helton at bat!
Wish I remembered it!
So, those are all of my major league baseball games! And guess what? I'm going to Atlanta again on Monday with my dad, my uncle Josh and my cousin Ty to watch the Braves play the Washington Nationals. If you want to look for us, the game is going to be on ESPN! We get to see rookie Stephen Strasburg pitch for the Nationals! I'll still be cheering for the Braves!

Gigglin' Will

Sorry I haven't updated in a while, but this will be worth your wait! Last night I was doing armpit poots (mom makes me say "poot") and Will noticed me doing it. He thought it was hilarious and he kept making me do the sound. He would point at me and say, "Beh Beh" and then he would put his hand under his armpit and make the sound with his tongue. Dad says that it is a universal thing and that ALL boys laugh at that sound. Mom thinks it's gross, but she was laughing too.

Yesterday was my last day of second grade. Bring on the summer!

Cabin Trip and Tying Flies

I went to a cabin 2 weeks ago with my dad's side of our family. This is who went.....Nana, Papa, Dad, Mom, me, Lillie, Connor, Ty, Marley, Jill, Darrin, Helen, Will, Josh and Kathy. It was very fun and it snowed while we were there. This is all of the cousins (except Will) in the hot tub.

I rolled in the snow and then jumped back in the hot tub really fast!
This is Connor and me in the snow with our swimsuits on.
A few nights ago, dad got his fly-tying kit out and we all tied flies. Dad and I tied a "green-weanie" and he said that it is the best one he has ever tied since I helped him.
Here is the "green-weanie" finally finished!
This is dad and Will tying a fly.
Will liked messing around with the tools and supplies most of all.
Dad let Helen pick her own colors to tie a fly.
I can't wait until it warms up and we can fish with these flies!

Turkey, Toby and GRITS!

OK. You are wondering why there is a turkey right beside me. Well, it is a long story. Mom got enough Ingles points to get a free Butterball turkey. Note to self....what in the wide wide world does Butterball mean? Anyway, we have had it in the freezer since Thanksgiving and mom put it in the fridge on Monday to thaw. So we got it out today and I helped her get it ready to put in the oven. I'm not sure what I was about to get myself into.

Here are mom's turkey helpers. I wonder what Will was thinking about this bird?
I'm looking at the guts, the breastbone, the backbone, the thigh and the wings. NOT! I was actually looking at the bag of stuff that was inside the bird.
Mom made me stick my hand up in there to get the bag of GUTS out!
Here I am with the turkey after it came out of the oven. Looks pretty good. It was good. All because of me, your furry old pal Beckett.
Why does my post title include Toby and GRITS? Because of my new playlist songs by Toby Mac and GRITS! Enjoy and....
