Teddy Grahams and Baby Jesus

We went to my church on Monday and met some of my friends to make graham cracker nativity scenes. To make baby Jesus we put a teddy graham in a manger made out of graham crackers. For Mary and Joseph we put two elf cookies and for the stable we stuck graham crackers together with icing. For the angel, we put a pretzel on the top of the stable. We put a marshmallow on top of the pretzel with icing for the head of the angel. I had fun with my friends Luke and Matt. After we made our nativity scenes at the church we went to Burger King with the Kirklands, the Roberts and the Wassenaars. The Wassenaars have kids named Ethan, Cade and Gracie Beth. You will see some pictures of them when you scroll down! Rock on!

This is a picture of me and my nativity scene.

This is what it looked like up close!

Searching for Treasure!

Hey Everyone! This is a picture of my friend Matt and me. I went to his birthday party on Saturday and we had a BLAST! We went on a hayride that looked like a pirate ship. We were looking for Blackbeard's treasure. We got stuck up the hill and you will see what happened. While we were stuck on the hill, we fought for our lives. We tore up the pirate ship! It was a fun day. Thanks, Matt for inviting me to your party! ROCK ON!

Tanks, Tanks and More Tanks!

Today is Veterans Day. I went with my mom and my little sister, Helen to the Veterans Day parade in downtown Knoxville. Veterans Day is a day to honor people who have served in the military. There are some people in the military like Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard. Some of the veterans in my family are my great grandfather, Papaw who served in WWII. My grandfather, Papa served in the Navy during Vietnam. He was on two different ships off of the coast of Vietnam during the war. My other grandfather, Granbob served in the Army National Guard for 30 years. I learned that we need to honor all people who serve in the military because they are fighting for our freedom. Freedom means we are free to worship God in our country and that is cool. I learned that other countries do not have the freedoms that we do because they have rulers who tell them what to do. But the only ruler that rules everyone is God.
A lady next to us offered to take this picture.
These guys were dressed as Patriots who fought during the American Revolution.
Here is "Uncle Sam" on a HUGE bicycle! Ha! Ha! Ha!
This is a big tank. Mom said they use these on sand.
Another big camouflage truck!
Look closely in the sky and you can see 4 Air Force jets flying over the parade.

Characters to look for on Halloween!

This year I am going to be Mr. Fantastic for Halloween. We got a good deal on the costume. It was $5.00. I am learning a lot about Mr. Fantastic. He is the leader of the Fantastic Four.

Helen will be Cinderella. Our friend Emma gave her the costume! She will be a beautiful princess!
ROCK ON!
